Final Project
here is my final project. I tried almost everything.. I kept having problems with uploading.. my files kept crashing. It was a nightmare.. so to be honest this was the best I could do after eventually giving up with the whole uv mapping thing.

Etch A Sketch - Project 3:
Reflective Essay:
Textures come from everyday pictures and possible pre-made UV maps. However on my Etch A Sketch I decided it would be pretty sweet if i could make one, but incorporate some sort of a design in it. So I put a quick sketch of a monster holding a balloon.
Below are some images with textures that i thought were pretty cool. They helped me get a feel for how complex mapping can really get.
These are just few of the many I found... Texture mapping is a lot harder than it sounds but creating the model that needs to be mapped is a pain in the butt. but fun =)

Building Texture - Project 2
My project isn't that great but Im starting to figure out what to do UV mapping wise. This program is probably the hardest program I have ever had to use.

Project: Blockville
Numero Uno...
The Second One...
Heres Three...
As of right now.. This is by far the hardest program I've ever had to use. I really had no plan going into this project. Being as unoriginal as possible I decided to go with Skyscrapers that were kinda strange. This is exactly what I typed in on Google: "Crazy Skyscraper buildings."Awesome right? Anyway, I think my best piece is the first one posted. I like how it turned out when i rendered it. I am proud to say that I completed my first 3D building... except for the windows of course. Still trying to figure that stuff out.
I didn't really know what to expect taking this class... so taking Miles advice was the best way to go. "If you don't cheat your not trying." Best line I've ever heard. I guess you could say on the second one I "cheated a little" but you couldn't tell if I hadn't have told you. For the triangular shapes at the top of the building i actually used rectangles just positioned the camera at an angle where you cant really tell. Yes, I'm a sneaky snake and proud of it.
